As a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), KWAME knows that a diverse business community and workforce are important to the success and competitiveness of our nation. KWAME has a long-standing commitment to M/WBE success, ensuring diversity within our own workforce and among our teaming partners.
Diversity has always been at the foundation of our mission. We are extremely proud that 75 percent of our firm's workforce is made up of minority and female professionals - construction managers, engineers, architects, attorneys and support staff.
Our not-for-profit Kwame Foundation has extended our diversity commitment and support beyond our business community and into our greater community.
Kwame Foundation, Inc. has endowed well over $600,000 in academic scholarships, which enable minority students to pursue higher education at some of the nation's finest colleges and universities. As testament to this commitment, KWAME recently was recognized along with many Fortune 500 firms as one of the Top 48 supporters of schools of engineering at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
